If you have some knowledge of computer-generated imagery, you have probably heard about ShaderToy. This tool is the sandbox of graphics developers, a huge collection of user-added shaders, i.e programs intended to generate an image.

Ludum Dare #44: my entry

Last weekend it was the Ludum Dare game jam: the idea is to create a game in one weekend on a given theme. Like in multiple of the previous editions, I took part in the event and spent my weekend working on shipping a game in 48 hours.

Still life (my progress in digital painting)

This still life took me a whole afternoon of work. It made me work on colors, shadows, textures. I’m quite happy with the pear and the waterpot but not with the grapes. I don’t master reflective materials yet (nor specular lighting).

Wappusymposium is TUT's "event of the year 2018"

On April 22nd, 2018, Tampere University of Technology’s choir Teekkarikuoro partenered with the very talented big band Torvikopla for one of the greatest events of Wappu, the end-of-the-year 10-day-long student festival. We have just been awarded the title of “event of the year 2018” by the Student Union of TUT.

Last weekend there was the Southwestern Europe Regional Contest (SWERC) for the International Collegiate Programming Contest, the most prestigious of its kind. Along with 8 other students and our coach Christine Solnon, we represented our school INSA Lyon to compete against the best universities from France, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

We hosted a hub for the Battle Dev contest

Tuesday evening there was the Battle Dev, a programming contest with more than 3000 contestants, 2 hours of challenge on 6 programming problems.

To give the opportunity for INSA Lyon students to participate in a friendly atmosphere and achieve good results, INSAlgo’s board decided to host a hub. With pizzas and drinks, our contestants indeed scored high.
